Somewhere along the line, psychotherapy taking years, and years . . . and years . . . and years . . .

Somehow that got normalized.

And yeah, a lot of times the things we’re working on are slow going. Complex, developmental trauma does not resolve quickly or easily. Depression and anxiety can be incredibly tough to shift. And I love working long-term with folks that want to go deep and get to the root of things.

At the same time, I don’t think you necessarily need to be on 20 different meds and in therapy for the rest of your life.

Ketamine (actually considered a non-traditional psychedelic) and other psychedelics like psilocybin, MDMA, mescaline, DMT, and others have shown immense promise in helping accelerate and deepen the effects of psychotherapy.

I partner with Journey Clinical in providing ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), and I hope to continue expanding my psychedelic-assisted therapy offerings as the FDA approves safe medicines.

If you feel curious about ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, feel free to reach out and schedule a free consultation. You can also check out Journey Clinical’s offerings here.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

Why psychedelics?

It’s a long answer, but the short version is this:

I don’t actually think you should be in therapy for the rest of your life.
